About Engage Implant courses
Engage Implant courses were created to help general dentists develop practical, clinically relevant implant restorative skills.
Many GDPs regularly see patients who may benefit from implant treatment but refer the complete treatment process because they lack confidence in the restorative phase.
This can mean losing continuity of care, revenue and the opportunity to develop a valuable clinical skill. Engage Implant provides an alternative.
Through focused teaching, hands-on training and continued support, dentists can learn how to restore suitable implant cases while continuing to work closely with experienced surgeons and laboratories.
Benefits for general dentists
Taught by a practising implant and restorative dentist
Stuart qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2008 and has spent his clinical career developing a particular interest in restorative and implant dentistry.
His postgraduate education includes advanced qualifications in restorative dentistry and dental implantology alongside continued postgraduate study in implant dentistry.
But Engage has been created around something equally important: the realities of everyday general dental practice.
Having worked as a GDP, practice owner and implant clinician, Stuart understands the gap between learning the theory of implant restoration and feeling confident enough to actually introduce it into practice.
Engage was created to bridge that gap through practical teaching, appropriate case selection and continued clinical support.
